This national publication has ranked Champlain College in the top tier of the Best Comprehensive Colleges in the North. The annual publication placed Champlain at number 17 in this category.

On December, 28, 2006, area news outlets reported that Champlain created a regional center for computer forensics with major funding from the U.S. Department of Justice. Sen.
