Electronic Game & Interactive Development

This program represents the convergence of entertainment (serious games and video game technologies), information and e-learning, communication technologies and art. You’ll learn game development by working as part of a production team—a process modeled after the industry—with access to state-of-the-art facilities, including several new, cutting-edge multimedia, 3D animation and game production labs.

E-Game & Interactive Development students choose to specialize in either Game Design (Are you a storyteller?) or Art and Animation (Are you an artist?) and build up the necessary depth within these disciplines. As a graduate with the Game Design specialization, your career options include game tester, level designer, interface designer, lead game designer and director of game design. Career options with the Art and Animation specialty include 2D artist, 3D artist, animator, modeler, texture artist, character animator, skins artist, leading to lead artist or creative director, lead animator and lead concept artist. [Learn more]
